CRAFT - PRICES & STRUCTURE |
- All Alternative Courses have a base price of US$9 per hour. Prices are adjusted to accommodate looms or musical instruments.
- A minimum of 15 hours is required to book
- Small group with participants of equivalent skill level.
- Family lodging is available through our Homestay Programs. Also we can get your lodging at Casa de la Abuela. We got special packages including courses, full boarding and lodging..
- An option to participate in weekly, half-day guided excursions.
- The courses start every Monday.
CRAFT COURSES SPECIAL PACKAGE
Weaving : (six types) or Jewerlly or Gourd Carving or Ceramics
This package is designed for craft courses in Weaving (Backstrap weaving: Huatanas/Pleje Chumpi/faja and pedal loom: tapestry making and picture weaving) Gourd Carving, Jewellery making,Natural dyes or spinning.
$US 240 per week
- This is a course especially made for those travelers who want to get a basic knowledge in our different cultural options It is a practical and intensive course.
- 3 hours of craft lessons daily (Mon - Fri).
- Small group with participants of equivalent skill level.
- One day to visit the Village where the craft is originated from with the teacher to meet and learn about the people who have been practising this craft for a long time.
- All course materials included, plus textbook, pen and notebook.
- 7 days / 6 nights of lodging at La Casa de La Abuela, including 3 meals per day, in a dormitory room, single or double accommodation is available for an additional fee.
- Farewell dinner at the end of the course.
- Special discounts at La Cabaña restaurant and for tours organized by Incas del Peru.
- We will not place students of different skill levels in the same classroom setting.
